Activities

The Lodge Aged Care Community on the Gold Coast offers a warm, friendly and active atmosphere for all residents. The residents themselves (and their families and friends) direct the range of services, activities, outings and events at The Lodge through through the resident committees and resident forums.

The leisure, interest and activities program consists of a variety of individual, group and community activities which capture social, intellectual, physical, sensory, cultural and spiritual needs. A monthly activity calendar of onsite and external activities is provided, together with a notice board detailing each day’s activities. An example of the types of activities at The Lodge include:

External activities

• Shopping Centre Visits (monthly)
• Swimming pool excursions
• Book club visits
• Interaction with local groups – Lion’s Club, Rotary, Theatre Groups etc. – via our management and on-site vehicle to facilitate outings etc.
• Weekly (generally on Friday’s) bus outings for picnics and just a nice time out.
